Privacy, without the fog.

1. The short version

Aro does not require an account, sell personal data, or currently include third-party advertising. Your focus history, intentions, rooms, settings, and notes are stored on your device and may sync through your private iCloud account when Apple services are available.

2. Information involved

• On-device and iCloud data: sessions, goals, rituals, settings, intentions, and notes.
• Product analytics: Mixpanel receives events such as app launches, session type and duration, selected ritual, aggregate progress, feature interactions, and Pro status.
• Purchases: RevenueCat processes an anonymous purchaser identifier, product identifiers, transaction status, and subscription entitlements.
• Support: if you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include in your message.

3. What analytics never includes

Aro does not send your free-text focus intentions or session notes to Mixpanel. Analytics events use an automatically generated identifier, not an Aro account, email address, or real-world identity.

Aro relies on Apple services, Mixpanel, and RevenueCat for the purposes described above.

5. Advertising and permissions

Aro does not currently include third-party advertising. We do not request your precise location, contacts, or microphone. A custom background selected from your photo library is used for that feature and stored with the app’s local data.

6. Retention and choices

Local data remains until you remove it or delete the app. iCloud data is controlled through your Apple account and device settings. Analytics and purchase records are retained by our service providers according to their policies and our operational needs.

7. Children

Aro is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
